About
Some History
North Coast Rugby Union Football Club (NCRUFC) is a growing assembly of highly motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic future Western Force and Wallaby players (who have parents with the same drive and energy).
The club was established in 2007. Currently we have over 60 registered players. With the ongoing support of Rugby WA our teams are growing in size and skill.
2011 Teams are:
1 U6/7
1 U8
1 U9
1 U11
1 U12
Our current home ground is Kingsbridge Park in Butler at the northern end of Marmion Avenue. We have regular socials at the Merriwa Tavern. We have a base of coaches, assistant coaches and team managers who not only have a wealth of experience (both local and international) but who are committed to promotion of the sport and its players within and around our community and beyond. These members all come from the northern suburbs.
The club competes in the Junior RugbyWA competitions held each year. These competitions are played across a number of venues, the main ones located at Lake Joondalup Park in Wanneroo and Britannia Oval in Leederville. Smaller Joey and/or Home Carnivals are held at specific club venues throughout the competition, as decided by Rugby WA and Western Australia Junior Rugby Union. Various other tournaments are also held throughout the rugby season.
Players are covered by insurance that is organized through RugbyWA.
All players are also advised that mouth guards are required for every age group for every game throughout the season (and at training) – NO GUARD, NO GAME.
